近期,我系郝建强副教授与太原理工大学张金山教授等的”Effects of 14H LPSO phase on the dynamicrecrystallization and work hardening behaviors of an extruded Mg-Zn-Y-Mn alloy”在《Materials Science and Engineering A》上发表。

论文简介如下:The Mg94Zn2.5Y2.5Mn1(at%)alloys were treated with different technology of heat treatment processing,namely water cooling and furnace cooling, to obtain the specimens without andwith 14H LPSO phase prior to extrusion. The resultant microstructure andmechanical properties of the extruded Mg94Zn2.5Y2.5Mn1alloys were investigated. The extruded alloy with 14H LPSO phase exhibitedfiner grains, lower dynamically recrystallized volume fraction, and additional14H LPSO phase as well as stronger basal texture as compared to that without14H LPSO phase. Consequently, the extruded alloy with 14H LPSO phase exhibitedhigher strength but lower elongation as compared to that without 14H LPSOphase. The detailed reasons for these phenomena were provided and analysed inthis paper. In particular, the effects of 14H LPSO phase on the dynamicrecrystallization and work hardening behaviors were discussed, The resultshowed that the presence of 14H LPSO prior to extrusion can hinder thenucleation and growth of DRX grains in the extruded Mg94Zn2.5Y2.5Mn1alloys. Moreover, the large quantities of 14H LPSO phase not only lowed dynamicrecovery rate but also promoted the decrease of θ value at stage Ⅳ.
